A Valentine’s Day Special

Today I’m welcoming my eldest daughter to the podcast for a special episode. We had a lovely conversation about St Valentine and I wanted to share it with you. We also talked about God’s covenant faithfulness and ways that we can show love to others. We’re excited to have you join us!

The book referenced is Stories of the Saints and my daughter read the first paragraph of the story of Valentine before putting the rest into her own words. The book offers a great introduction to the stories of saints throughout history and the ways in which God has worked through his people, the church. While some might not believe every story, it is still worth considering how God has used his people and might continue to move in the church today. My daughter has found these very encouraging, thinking “God did this for so-and-so; he’ll take care of me too!”
